General Objectives
On successful completion of this course you will be able to:

1. A New Media Technologies course aims to:

   1. Understand new media tools (social media, AI, etc.) and their role in society.

   2. Analyze the impact of new media on culture, politics, and behavior.

   3. Explore media production and consumption, equipping students with practical digital content creation skills.

   4. Examine social media and user-generated content in shaping communication and public discourse.

   5. Investigate future trends in digital technologies and their potential impacts.

   6. Develop digital and media literacy, enabling critical evaluation of online content.

   7. Promote creativity and innovation in using new media for personal and professional projects.

   8. Understand data and analytics in shaping digital experiences and marketing.

   9. Design new media strategies, preparing students for digital marketing, social media management, and campaign development.

   10. Build collaborative skills, fostering teamwork across disciplines related to media, technology, and communication.

Note

Application for admission should be made on the prescribed forms obtainable from the school. Completed application forms should be submitted together with two passport- sized photographs and a certified copy of student results slip and certificates within the prescribed period of time to the registrar.
