General Objectives
On successful completion of this course you will be able to:
Audio Editing Skills: Teaching students to edit audio tracks, remove noise, adjust levels, and mix sound for clarity and impact.
Video Editing Techniques: Mastering video editing software (like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro) to cut, trim, and assemble video clips.
Post-Production Workflow: Understanding the post-production process, including color correction, audio synchronization, and visual effects.
Storytelling with Multimedia: Using editing techniques to enhance narrative flow, pacing, and emotional impact in video and audio projects.
Sound Design: Creating and editing sound effects, voiceovers, and music to complement video content.
Basic Motion Graphics: Adding text, titles, and simple animations to videos for a professional finish.
Technical Proficiency: Developing proficiency in industry-standard editing tools and formats for various platforms (film, television, online).
Project Workflow: Learning how to manage files, work in teams, and meet deadlines for multimedia projects.
Note
Application for admission should be made on the prescribed forms obtainable from the school. Completed application forms should be submitted together with two passport- sized photographs and a certified copy of student results slip and certificates within the prescribed period of time to the registrar.
